KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Product Manager, you have 3 main fields of expertise which you need to balance perfectly

  • You are a project manager
  • You are a beacon of market knowledge
  • You manage the product life cycle

YOUR TASKS 

You are a project manager in bringing new products and product families to the market. You set out the planning and follow up a team that exists of people from various departments like developers, sourcing, supply chain, production, marketing communication… in the development journey from idea to prototype to manufacturable and commercial product. Often operating in a challenging timeframe. You know how to make the right trade-offs and decisions during the development phase of a product.

Following aspects are part of your role as project manager:

  • Frequent correspondence with often renown designers
  • Close cooperation with development
  • Certification for different regions and markets
  • Supplier screening
  • Product administration (BOMs, component pricing, price lists)
  • Defining content for product documentation (PIM/DAM, manuals, specification sheets, …)

You are a beacon of market knowledge for sales. You can see the bigger picture beyond the product and understand what the needs of the customer are. You know the market, the competitors, their positioning and turn our benefits and advantages into a value proposition that puts sales in a winning position. You speak with authority about your product families.

You make sure to share your insights by

  • Organizing trainings for sales managers
  • Holding webinars on product updates towards agents, dealers and colleagues worldwide
  • Having a short line communication with sales and their customers

You manage the product life cycle of your product families. Once a product is launched you frequently assess if the solution is price competitive. You advise if a bigger or smaller product family is required to be more successful or profitable. You eventually define and organize the end-of-life of a product once it no longer fits with our strategy | brand image.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who

  • has minimal 5 years of experience as a product manager
  • is passionate about design | architecture | interior
  • is a teamplayer and has excellent communication and motivational skills
  • has an eye for quality and makes no concessions about it
  • can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • is flexible about his or her working place, operating mostly from Antwerp (BE) but very often from Kontich (BE) or Bladel (NL)
  • has knowledge or is interested in developing knowledge about acoustics

To support the dynamic growth and expansion of our North American market, BuzziSpace is currently looking for a Business Development Associate in New York who will uncover new opportunities and support current projects.  The primary focus of this position is to drive BuzziSpace sales through relationships with various stakeholders and influencers.

This position will report to the National Sales Director.

YOUR FUNCTION

As Business Development Associate, you will

  • Ensure smooth execution of the sales cycle through a consultative approach
  • Develop an annual strategic plan for your territory to meet its sales targets
  • Support and develop an assigned roster of A&D, Dealer, PM Firm & End User accounts
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline of at least 2x the sales goal
  • Achieve expert level BuzziSpace brand and product knowledge
  • Learn and master all BuzziSpace acoustic tools and presentations
  • Schedule and execute trainings, site/showroom tours, and marketing events with all stakeholders
  • Build and sustain industry networks by participating in professional organizations – IIDA, ASID, CoreNet, etc.
  • Manage opportunity specification, quoting and communication activity in partnership with the High Point Customer Service team
  • Be responsible for completing all standard processes and forms for custom, sampling and large projects
  • Travel 25% regionally and nationally with requirement for international travel at least one time per year

YOUR PROFILE

You have

  • Contract/Commercial Furniture Industry Knowledge
  • 5 Years Sales Experience in the Contract Furniture industry
  • A Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, Business or Interior Design
  • MS Office Suite, CRM tool experience
  • Prospecting, Sales Planning Skills
  • Motivation for Sales and Meet Sales Goals
  • Excellent Presentation Skills, Professionalism

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the management of our Customer Service teams in Kontich (BE), Bladel (NL), Aachen (DE) and London (UK). You will report to the Operations Director and be a member of the global operations team (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Warehouse).

Your main objective will be to coach and inspire your teams and develop its individual members in order for them to contribute to a culture of excellence where commercial and customer service roles are perfectly balanced. Furthermore, you will align with your counterpart in the US when driving continuous improvement activities that will secure a positive and seamless customer experience around the globe.

We are currently looking for a talented Master Data Officer to join our growing team.

YOUR FUNCTION

As Master Data Officer

  • you are responsible and accountable for managing the product master data in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) such as
    • Article numbers and (extended) descriptions, category and group codes
    • Materials, weights, volumes, sizes and units of measure
    • Color and collection variants
    • Unit Sales Prices and Unit Purchase Costs (per vendor)
  • you are responsible for safeguarding the different processes in the ERP system
    • ERP User Acceptance Tests for product codes in case of New Product Introductions (NPI’s) – product or component changes – End of life (Product life cycle)
    • Import/Export product data
  • you will also assure the quality of the following data linked to the product master data, but provided by stakeholders (such as Finance – Supply Chain – Purchase – Customer Service)
    • Assembly and production settings as Bill of Materials and quantities therein per finished or whole product
    • Financial settings, Vendors, Product planning (MRP) policies, Reorder point, Reorder quantities and safety settings
    • Trade information as Intrastat codes, pricing per pricelist and discount settings
    • Warehouse and SKU settings

Your job is to manage this data in a timely and correct manner to assure the flow of the daily business.

You report to the Product Management Leader in our Marketing department.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a professional bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical field of study
  • You can look back at a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience within a production environment, which gives you an overall idea of the various flows in production (purchase, development, production, supply chain …)
  • You have experience with ERP systems (Navision I SAP)
  • You are analytical and stress resistant
  • You keep the overview and manage to set priorities under changing circumstances
  • You have good social skills, are communicative, assertive and have a positive no-nonsense attitude
  • You have an eye for details and an outspoken interest in data management
  • You are willing to travel between Antwerp and our production facility in The Netherlands
